The kids ranged in age from 10 months to 15 years old, and they played together wonderfully! My kids were telling me afterwards about the new friends they made, and also about how the older kids (10-15 year olds) were even playing with them. My Little Man was quite proud to tell me that he could run faster than the older kids when they tried to catch him. Quite a few of the families had never met before, yet everyone was so kind and easy to talk to, both adults and children. | I really enjoyed listening to what the other families are doing; the activities their children are involved in, some of the struggles they are having and how they are dealing with them and what their plans are for this coming year. One of the families had been to Debate Camp last week and it was great to hear about it, since that is something we would like to do with our kids some day. We also talked a bit about future field trips we are hoping to do together. |
