Bunnies
The girls have both wanted bunnies for a long time, so we have been researching to learn what we needed to know about breeding bunnies. Here are some of the things we have learned:
- A male rabbit is called a buck. The female is a doe. The babies are called kits.
- The gestation period for a rabbit is 31 days.
- A rabbit giving birth is called "kindling".
- Rabbits should not eat lettuce or anything else from the cabbage family as it causes entiritis, which can kill them.
To record their new adventure with bunnies, Princess has started a blog. She will be posting about anything new and exciting that happens with her rabbits or the things she learns about rabbits. If you're interested, you can check out her blog - My Bunny Blog.

Other New Plants
The same day we bought the yellow cactus, we found a bromeliad plant, which is a kind of plant that grows in the rainforest. Little Man is fascinated with the African rainforest and wanted to buy his own rainforest plant. He bought it with his own money and helped me re-pot it when we got home.
