Coffee Filter Autumn Tree
I think that one of my favourite projects that we did this week was making autumn leaves out of coffee filters! In the original post they put the tree on their window, which would look really pretty, but we painted our tree on a long piece of craft paper. I had drawn the outline of the tree and left the paper on the floor for when we would be ready to paint it and add the leaves. While I was not watching, my 7 year old added some extra branches. (He has developed a love of drawing trees with funky branches this week, which makes me excited because up until now he has not liked drawing, or anything else that requires holding a pencil!) Besides the extra character my son's branches add to the tree, I love how colourful it turned out!
Do you have any autumn projects that should be added to this list or my Pinterest boards? I would love it if you would share links to your favourite autumn projects with us in the comments!
