Something I like to do with my children is take time off from our regular school work to do a week of fun, seasonal activities. The start of the new school year is a great time to do a week of autumn activities and kick the new school year off with some fun! Let me show you some of the things we did during our week of autumn activities.
Today I am over at Hip Homeschool Moms, sharing about Autumn on the Farm. Make sure you check it out at http://www.hiphomeschoolmoms.com/2013/10/autumn-fun-on-the-farm/.
Thanks! Don't forget that I will be taking a break for a few days, but I will be back soon!
Happy Thanksgiving from Canada!
The weather was beautiful, so I decided to take the kids on an autumn nature walk around our farm yard.
We started at the apple trees. This tree is a September Ruby and the apples taste best after the first frost. (Can you find the bird nest in the branches?) It is also my children's favourite climbing tree :)
