One of my readers commentee on my Gardening With Your Children post mentioned that she would like to read about how to get her children to help in the garden without having to fight to get them there. I realized this might be a common problem so I thought it would make for an interesting blog post. The only thing is, I don't really have that problem...

I have never done a food post on here before, (other than food like China-shaped cookies). I see lots of recipes and pictures of food on other blogs, but I am just not into that. At least not normally. Today, you will see pictures of food on my blog, and I will tell you how yummy the food was when we ate it :) Most of all, I will tell you all about how my kids made the food, not me! (Make sure you read all the way to the end to see the great giveaway we have for you too!)
This year an over-riding theme has been coming up over and over again... At Thanksgiving I reviewed The November Planning Pack for Children, which included a list of ways to bless others... I had the opportunity to review the book, Why We Give Gifts at Christmas Time... The Christmas play our children are involved in is called We Three Spies and is about the Christmas Intelligence Kids (CIK) who give gifts in secret at Christmas time... All of this has led to some interesting and heart warming discussions and prayer with my children :) They have such big hearts and are so eager to jump at the chance to help someone! God has taught me so much through the faith and kindness of my children! My goal for Christmas this year is to really focus more on giving to others with my children! Here are 5 ways we have thought of to give to others together.
The other day my preschooler learned a lesson in perseverance, and so did I. Little Munchkin was the teacher and I was the student.
