I love field trips! Especially when we get to join other homeschoolers! Recently we met with several other homeschool families for a trip to the Morse Museum and Cultural Center. It was a lot of fun, and perfectly timed for some dot-to-dot connections with our Little House on the Prairie unit study :)

We started a project that I have been looking forward to for years! We are reading through the Little House on the Prairie series in our homeschool!
Normally I probably would not post so much about Christmas already, but I have joined some launch teams for some really great Christmas books and I guess they are getting me into the Christmas spirit a little earlier than usual :) The book I am going to tell you about today is one of those. I want you to have time to get your own book to share with your little ones about why we give gifts at Christmas time before Christmas :)
The other day my preschooler learned a lesson in perseverance, and so did I. Little Munchkin was the teacher and I was the student.
Today I have a guest post for you from Michele from MommyBloggerDirectory.com. Michele is a working mom of 3 who likes to share stories & ideas on her blog. Today she is going to share with us some ways she has found to save money on Christmas shopping. Thank you for sharing with us, Michele! Christmas will be here much sooner than you expect. Finding the best deals for all the things on your family's wish list can be budget friendly when you begin looking for gifts early in the season. One of the biggest advantages of shopping online is that you can easily compare costs of the items that you need to create happy memories this holiday season.
This is the last post in this series, for the moment :) Princess has finished her first cake decorating course! She wants to continue with the rest of the courses, but Course 2 won't be for a couple of months, so we get a break for awhile.
