Little Man and Munchkin are both using Math-U-See and I still get to have fun with them :) Munchkin is using the Primer level right now. She seemed to pick up her addition facts fairly quickly when she learned her +0 and her +1 facts individually, but when we tried to review with the facts together, she seemed to struggle with them. So, for the moment, I have gone back to playing some games with her to help her review those facts again.
To review her math facts, we played Clear the Board, (which I found in Confessions of a Homeschoolers Dice and Domino Math Fun kit). I changed the rules a bit to help Munchkin with what she needs to work on. Normally when we play Clear the Board we roll the dice and add or subtract the numbers. Then we clear the answer off the board. (The kids like to use buttons to fill in the board.)
What fun math activities have you done with your children lately?
